League of Legends Patch 13.24 Release Date

League of Legends’ patch 13.24 release date is slated to shake things up for Riot Games’ popular MOBA once more, bringing with it new champion Hwei, Winterblessed skins, and more.

LoL patch 13.24’s release date also marks the moment when the final update of the year will be deployed, bringing an end to the MOBA’s long, steady stream of updates before things pick up again in January 2024 with the start of the next ranked season.

League of Legends patch 13.24’s release date is slated to occur on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, as revealed in the official patch schedule found on developer Riot Games’ support site.

LoL’s patch 13.24 brings with it a new champion named Hwei, who is a mid-lane mage with an extended ability kit and a bit of an unique playstyle.

A set of new Winterblessed skins are also on the way, likely in time for the event bearing their name.

Camille, Annie, Hecarim, newcomer Hwei, Lucian, Thresh, Senna, and Sylas can take to the field donning new icy garb.

In addition, Ashe is the newest recipient of a Crystalis Motus skin which gives her bow a striking red hue. Ashe never was one for camouflage.

The Mythic Shop is also getting a bit of a refresh with a handful of new items, while a new control option makes casting certain spells more accurate by clamping their cursor to their maximum range, even if you mouse arrow moves beyond it.

LoL 13.24’s release date should also see a host of champion and item changes going live in an attempt to address imbalances and various issues that may have popped up in the meantime.

Lead Gameplay Designer Matt Leung-Harrison has shared the LoL patch 13.24 preview, highlighting a series of changes being considered for release in early December.

Qiyana and K’Sante are in line to receive buffs, while Briar and Ivern count among the champions who have nerfs coming their way.

Following its launch, two micropatches were revealed, expected to arrive on live servers around December 12, 2023.

They focus on the game’s Arena mode, introducing balance changes to champions – including buffs to the likes of Karthus and Zilean – alongside a variety of adjustments that should make for a better experience.

Realm of Death (R):

New: Casting Realm of Death will now reveal the target upon starting the cast. This means that walking into a brush while Mordekaiser is casting his R will no longer cancel the spell. Note: The target will not be revealed for the entire duration of the spell, so you can still hide on bush if one comes with you to the Realm.

Qiyana - Buffed

Base mana increased to 375 from 325
Mana growth increased to 60 from 50

Talon - Changed

Noxian Diplomacy (Q):

New: When cast at range, Q will now reset Talon's attack timer. (Note: this has been updated to match the functionality of his Q when cast at melee range.)

Vel'Koz - Changed

Void Rift (W):

Fixed a bug where the first half of the rift would fizzle if Vel'Koz died directly after casting.

Tectonic Disruption (E):

Fixed a bug where the spell would fizzle out when V'K flashes or is knocked back at max range.
Tectonic Disruption's missile will now spawn at Vel'koz's original location if he flashes or is knocked back during the cast.
