League of Legends’ Pulsefire Event 2020 continues the MOBA’s series of 2020 events, bringing players new missions, skins, rewards, as well as seeing the return of the Pick Urf mode.
The Pulsefire Event 2020 starts today, May 14, at 1 PM PT/9 PM BST, being set to end on June 15 at 23:59 PM PT/7:59 AM BST.
League of Legends Pulsefire Event 2020
League of Legends’ Pulsefire Event 2020 comes with its own Pulsefire Pass which costs 1650 RP. For the price, players get 200 Pulsefire Tokens and 4 Pulsefire Orbs. Tokens can be spent until June 30 at 1 PM PT/9 PM BST.
Players can also opt for the Pulsefire Pass Bundle which costs 2650 RP. Aside from everything in the Pass above, the bundle also includes the Pulsefire Lucian skin.
Purchasing a Pass after you’ve purchased the bundle won’t get you any extra orbs or tokens, developer Riot Games points out.
League of Legends’ Pulsefire Event 2020 will get access to a series of new missions, some being available to all players while others requiring a Pass. Here’s what to expect in terms of missions and rewards:

Winning in Summoner’s Rift, ARAM, Pick URF, or placing in the top for in Teamfight Tactics will get you 5 points towards the weekly threshold. Losing or placing below the 4th place in Teamfight Tactics will get you 2 points.

Every mission in this chain rewards 12 tokens with the exception of the very first one which also grants players completing it a Pulsefire Core Icon.

- Temporal Pursuer - Play a game as Lucian/Play 7 games
- Need a Battery, Not a Map - Earn 32,000 gold/Play 12 games
- 4 Jumps Remaining - Win a game of Summoner's Rift in 35 minutes or less/Play 7 games
- We Have to Go Back - Earn 15 takedowns/Play 3 games
- Haunted by Syncopation - Play a game as Pantheon/Play 7 games
- Stern Rebuke - Kill 400 minions/Play 12 games
- 3 Jumps remaining - Win a game of summoner's rift in 30 mins or less/Play 7 games
- Spring Backward, Fall Ahead - Play a game or ARAM/Play 3 games

Orb Mission
- Play 30 Games - 60 Tokens and Pulsefire Orb
League of Legends’ Pulsefire Event 2020 also introduces new skins that players can purchase. First in line are Pulsefire Lucian, Pulsefire Ekko, Pulsefire Fiora and Pulsefire Pantheon skins, each costing 1350 RP.
On May 28 at 1 PM PT/9 PM BST the Astronaut Bard, Astronaut Gnar and Astronaut Poppy skins will also become available costing, again, 1350 RP each.
The Plusefire Event 2020 will also introduce new chromas, ward skins, border sets and emotes. Players will also be able to purchase three loot bundles:
- 1 Pulsefire Orb + 16 Pulsefire Tokens - 250 RP
- 10 Pulsefire Orbs + 1 Bonus Orb + 160 Pulsefire Tokens - 2500 RP
- 25 Pulsefire Orbs + 1 Pulsefire Grab Bag + 400 Pulsefire Tokens - 6250 RP
One Pulsefire Orb comes with 1 random Skin Shard and a 4% chance to drop a Pulsefire Grab Bag. The Grab Bag includes one Shard from each tier (520 RP, 750 RP, 975 RP, 1350 RP, 1820 RP) and multiplies by 1.5 your Gemstone and Mythic Skin permanent drop rates.
