If you count among those fully embracing League of Legends’ competitive side, there’s a good chance that you’re wondering when 2023’s rank reset and the end date of split 1 are set to occur.
The MOBA’s ranked season structure has seen some notable changes in 2023. Rather than running from the start of the year until its final months, it is now comprised of two splits. The end of Split 1 brings with it LoL’s first 2023 rank reset.
League of Legends Rank Reset 2023
Developer Riot Games has confirmed that LoL’s first rank reset of 2023 is slated to occur around the middle of July.
More specifically, split 1’s end date has been locked down to July 17 at 11:59 PM CST. Until then, you can play in an attempt to climb the ladder and secure the first split’s rewards.
- League of Legends Split 1 end date: July 17, 2023
- League of Legends Split 2 end date: Not announced, possibly November (GameWatcher estimation)
LoL’s ranked season 2023 split 2 then starts on July 19 at 12 PM CST. It hasn’t been given an end date just yet but, based on past seasons, we expect it to wrap up at some point in November, ushering in the second League of Legends rank reset of 2023.
Of course, this remains speculation until the developer officially confirms when it plans to conclude the ranked season.
Nevertheless, you should have several months’ worth of time to grind matches yet again for the second set of rewards.
That is what we know so far about League of Legends’ 2023 rank reset alongside when its ranked season split 1 and split 2 are set to end.
