Sony is reportedly working with Guerrilla Games on a Lego version of the Horizon series, which was revealed at this year’s Summer Game Fest Showcase.
The Summer Games Fest Showcase begins at 2pm PT / 10pm BST / 5pm ET on YouTube and Twitch.
Dealabs writer Billbil-kun, a credible leaker, first claimed that Lego Horizon Adventures would be announced during the show and is in development for PC and PlayStation 5. We later learned that it was also in development for the Nintendo Switch.
Lego Horizon Adventures Release Date
Lego Horizon Adventures will be released on PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5 simultaneously, with pre-orders being available now. The release date has been set for Fall 2024.
Lego Horizon Adventures Gameplay
Lego Horizon Adventures will be an action-adventure game, similar to what we’ve seen in the past games from the series of Lego adaptations, and should come with solo and co-op modes so you can enjoy it with friends. Yes, it will have crossplay too, it seems.
A PlayStation Network (PSN) account is required to access the game on PC, leaving it inaccessible in over 170 territories worldwide. We don’t think this decision will change like what happened with Helldivers 2 either.
Billbil-kun claims that it will come with “in-app purchases”, but it isn’t clear at the moment how this will operate when it launches. The game doesn’t seem to have any multiplayer options other than co-op, but we will learn more this evening.
