UPDATE OCTOBER 20: Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy file size will be smaller than initially announced.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy has gathered an adequate amount of hype around it thanks, in part, to how it eschews the live service elements of Crystal Dynamics’ ill-fated Avengers, and we now know its system requirements, giving us an idea of whether or not we have the PC specs required to run it.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy’s system requirements come with both good and not so good news. One the one hand, we won’t have to rush out and buy new hardware that’s already pretty hard to find, as it should accommodate older graphics cards and CPUs.
The title will, however, gobble up quite a bit of storage space. While it still has a bit to go until it reaches Call of Duty levels of storage requirements, the 150 GB it needs won’t make too many people happy. Read on below for the full Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy system requirements:

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is set to release on October 26, heading to PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
On October 20, the developer clarified that Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will actually have a smaller file size after optimizations.
Hey everyone! We wanted to give you an update on the final size of the PC version of the game, which will not be 150 GB,” it said in a tweet. “The team is in the last stages of optimizing the final game and we can confirm the file size will be approximately 80 GB at launch.”
