UPDATE February 2: EA reveals official Mass Effect Legendary Edition release date.
The Mass Effect Legendary Edition release date has now been officially revealed by publisher Electronic Arts. The title is set to launch this May.
Announced in November and given an initial Spring 2021 release window, Mass Effect Legendary Edition aims to remaster the original trilogy in a package that also includes all the DLC received by each of the three games.
This totals over 40 pieces of downloadable content that players will be able to purchase, alongside the base games, when the Mass Effect Legendary Edition’s May 14 release date comes around. A shiny new reveal trailer, which you can watch below, showcases a couple of remastered character models and locations
Initially, the title was leaked on Singaporean and Indonesian stores as launching this March, which is no longer the case.
Aside from all the content in the original trilogy, Mass Effect Legendary Edition will also launch with 4K support, faster framerates and various visual improvements. We’ll keep an eye out and update this article with any new details about the RPG’s release date as soon as we learn more.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition’s release date is May 14, when it arrives on PC (via Origin and Steam), Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4.
