Developed by the team behind Dead by Daylight, Meet Your Maker is a mix of a first-person shooter and platform game with an interesting concept. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, players must raid enemy bases while building and protecting their own from outsiders.
The game offers a variety of traps and enemies to choose from, allowing players to customize and fortify their own base to best suit their needs. Although the game has only been around for a week, Behaviour Interactive has announced its early post-launch roadmap so players can stay up to date with the game’s development. Here’s everything you need to know about the future of this game.
Meet Your Maker Early Post-Launch Map Revealed
First up, the cosmetics. Meet Your Maker players will have access to an all new Deco Pack called Hellscape. This update puts an emphasis on organic matter and industrial materials to create an eerie effect, featuring creepy building items which will likely make anyone think twice when entering your base. The great news? Players who already own the game will receive it instantly on April 18, 2023, for free.
This pack will include:
- 2 Blocks (each available in 3 shapes)
- 2 Props
- 1 Animated Prop
- 8 Decals
Next, the addition of Mods and Augments. With this update, players will be able to further modify their traps and guards to create a more complex, and challenging base. These are free and can be unlocked via playtime using in-game currency.
Meet Your Maker Major Content Update - Sector 1: Dreadshore
The major highlight of the roadmap is the new content update, Sector 1: Dreadshore. This update adds a new area beyond the blazing red sands of the post-apocalyptic world. With Dreadshore, players will be able to explore an entirely new environment with new challenges to face. This update will also introduce new characters, weapons, and perks for players to discover.
The Sector 1: Dreadshore update will include:
- 1 New Environment (Free/Instant Access)
- 1 New Deco Pack (Free/Instant Access)
- 4 New Gameplay Elements (Unlockable via playtime or purchasable on PlayStation, Xbox, or Steam)
