Minecraft Dungeons has been out for less than a week and details about its first DLC, titled Jungle Awakens, have already been revealed, including a broad release date.
Players braving the Minecraft Dungeons’ blocky world won’t have too long to wait for the Jungle Awakens DLC, as it is slated for a July release window.
Minecraft Dungeons Jungle Awakens DLC Release Date
The Jungle Awakens DLC takes players to a “distant, dangerous jungle”, where they must face a mysterious new enemy.
The DLC will span three levels and introduce new monsters like the Leapleaf, Jungle Zombie and Poison Quill Vine, alongside new weapons, armor, and artifacts.
Minecraft Dungeons’ Jungle Awakens DLC is the first of two promised post-launch additions. The second, titled Creeping Winter, will likely take players to less warm locations when it launches later in 2020.
Purchasing Minecraft Dungeons’ Hero Edition grants access to both DLCs alongside a handful of cosmetic goodies. The game will also receive “cool new free content” available to all players in the coming months.
The PC version of Minecraft Dungeons is currently purchasable exclusively through the Windows Store.
