Obtaining materials like the Ace Hunter Coin and crafting yourself stronger or better looking gear is the other important side of Monster Hunter: World, aside from murdering endless amounts of massive beasts. Some materials, however, can prove to be a pain to obtain.
Here’s everything you need to know about how to get Ace Hunter Coins in Monster Hunter: World.
Monster Hunter: World Ace Hunter Coins
Ace Hunter Coins are required if you plan on crafting Guild Cross Armor pieces or the following weapons: Great Wyvern Jawblade, Divine Slasher, Binder Mace, Elder Babel Spear, Great Bowgun and the Great Hunter’s Bow.
In order to obtain Ace Hunter Coins you’ll have to spend a fair share of your time in Monster Hunter: World’s arena. You also can’t do just any quests, having to aim for the Arena Quest 08 and Arena Quest 09, which require a Hunter Rank of 15 or higher.
As you can probably tell, they’re fairly challenging, both pitting you against two monsters. Arena Quest 08 has players squaring off against a Radobaan and Uragaan while Arena Quest 09 features a Diablos and Black Diablos. Defeating them gives you a chance of receiving Ace Hunter Coins as a reward. The amount of coins received seems to be influenced by randomness more than performance, however, it goes without saying that downing the monsters as quickly as possible is ideal.
