Publisher and developer Capcom has announced that Iceborne, the upcoming expansion for Monster Hunter World will launch on PC early next year.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne was initially given a winter release window</b> on PC. That has now been narrowed down to January 2020, which makes it a shorter wait than that between the console and PC launch of the base game.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne PC Launch
Set to launch on PC via Steam, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne adds a whole new wintry locale called Hoarfrost Reach. As expected, it comes with its own collection of endemic life but also massive new monsters to hunt.
Players can expect to go against new monsters, like the Beotodus, that’s very used to navigating through snow, Banbaro, and the mysterious elder dragon Velkhana, among others.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne also introduces new moves and combos for all of the game’s existing weapons. The highlight, however, is the clutch claw that modifies your slinger so that you can grapple onto monsters.
Iceborne will also introduce Master Rank as a new level of difficulty for players who seek a bigger challenge. You can now wishlist the game on Steam to keep track of it ahead of its January 2020 PC launch.
Get ready, hunters! Monster Hunter World: #Iceborne arrives September 6 on PS4 and Xbox One!
