Publisher and developer TaleWorlds Entertainment today announced that Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord will finally enter Early Access late next month.
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord will be available in Early Access starting with March 31. Players will be able to purchase it from Steam, the Epic Games Store and the TaleWorlds website.
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord Early Access
Hopping into Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord’s Early Access version will cost $49.99/€49.99/£39.99, depending on your region.
Although its title might suggest otherwise, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is actually a prequel to Warband – the previous title in the series –, taking place 200 years prior to the other games.
During Bannerlord, the Calradian Empire faces imminent collapse, several factions fighting to take advantage of the situation and conquer as much territory as possible for themselves.
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord brings back the series’ trademark mixture of action, RPG and strategy focusing both on creating and developing your own character as it does on exploring, mustering an army and taking part in massive battles which see hundreds of units going at each other’s throats.
Bannerlord’s sandbox singleplayer campaign emphasizes freedom, letting players approach their goals as they see fit. When it all comes down to trading blows, the title boasts a skill-based, directional combat system.
You can follow and wishlist Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord on Steam ahead of its Early Access release next month.
