Publisher Electronic Arts and developer Criterion Games today unveiled a new video for upcoming racing game Need for Speed: Unbound, showcasing three minutes’ worth of Speed Race gameplay.
NFS: Unbound’s Speed Race gameplay video alternates between daytime and nighttime footage, giving us a better view of its city and the title’s new driving effects.
The video first takes us through what looks like the industrial part of the city before moving things to a more central location, where racers need to dodge traffic and pedestrians aside from the police.
It also shows off the Meetup menus that precede races, as well as Side Bets, which allow you to challenge specific racers in an attempt to win more cash.
The star of the clip is a Mercedes 190 E, which is now confirmed to be part of the title’s extensive roster of cars. You can watch the whole thing below.
Need for Speed: Unbound launches on December 2 on PC, via both Steam and the Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. Check out its system requirements to learn if you’ll be able to run it.
