As you grind for levels in New World, you’ll need to find and take out lots of baddies that endanger the local settlements. Once you make your way to First Light, you’ll eventually receive the One Threat at a Time quest, which tasks you with finding Boatswain Ambrose’s location and killing him as well as his buddy, Zebulon.
The quest sends you to the area of Nyhart’s Anchorage and getting there itself isn’t really difficult. But once you arrive, Boatswain Ambrose’s location can prove quite tricky to spot, which is why you’ll find plenty of people asking for directions in New World’s chat. This guide makes discovering both targets easy, so you can complete One Threat at a Time and be on your merry way.
New World Boatswain Ambrose Location
The easiest way to find Boatswain Ambrose’s location in New World is to approach Las Torres Bay and Nyhart’s Anchorage from the left side. Doing so will easily let you spot the massive ship that Zebulon is on but, more importantly, bring you right up to his more troublesome pal.
Approaching the area from the left will inevitably see you facing the arched structure in the screenshot above. Instead of giving in to temptation and using the stairs on the left, go forward, under the arch, and through the cave entrance right in front of you.
Take a few more steps, and you should see Boatswain Ambrose either being ruthlessly slaughtered by other players or simply chilling, waiting for his inevitable death.
With Boatswain Ambrose’s location now found and the NPC dead – he doesn’t put up that much of a fight –, go outside, take the aforementioned stairs and follow the bridge to the ship.
Once you’re on it, make a right, and you’ll find Zebulon waiting inside a room. After you’ve also killed him, head back to First Light to complete the One Threat at a Time quest.
That’s all you need to know about finding Boatswain Ambrose’s location in New World. For more help with the MMORPG, check out our guides on Fae Iron and the Marauders.
