Like most MMORPGs out there, New World is having its fair share of launch day woes, one of the more frequently encountered errors informing players that they Failed to Join Login Queue. As a high number of adventures set foot on the shores of Aeternum, it can take quite a bit before actually getting on the server of your choice.
New World’s Failed to Join Login Queue error is even more aggravating since it can pop up just as you get to the end of the queue, after having patiently waited for the thousands of other players lucky enough to be ahead. In cases like those, you’re sent at the other end of the queue, meaning that you have to play the waiting game all over again.
Sadly, there doesn’t seem to be much that players can do to work their way around New World’s Failed to Join Login Queue error. Likely caused by the high number of players trying to get in, it’s unlikely go away until the current strain on the servers reduces.
Long queue times are a staple of most MMO launches and can vary depending on the server you’ve chosen as your home, but it’s nonetheless discouraging to see yourself having to spend hours waiting to get in.
A fix for New World’s Failed to Join Login Queue error can likely only come from the developer, in tandem with the initial hype gradually dying down. If you’d rather not risk potentially wasting time in queue and aren’t adamant about playing the game at launch, it might be best to wait a day or two before seeing what Aeternum has to offer.
