Nightingale aims to shake up the survival game landscape when it launches and, if its gaslamp Victorian fantasy setting has caught your eye, you’re likely wondering when it will be releasing on consoles like the Xbox Series X/S or PS5.
A potential Nightingale console release date would be great news for anyone who’s looking to jump in but isn’t too keen on getting their fingers busy with researching and building a new PC. Here’s what we know about whether or not a Nightingale Xbox Series X/S or PS5 release is on the cards.
Nightingale PlayStation 5 Release Date
At the moment, Nightingale is slated to launch in early access on February 20, 2024, but is only confirmed for PC.
The most important, yet indirect, reference to a Nightingale console release date comes from a FAQ article on the title’s official website which, for now, is the bearer of bad news.
- Nightingale console release date: Not announced yet
“Nightingale is currently PC only,” it reads, dashing any hopes that we’ll get to play it on Xbox Series X/S or PS5 in February 2024.
Of course, a Nightingale console release could happen at a later point in time, either during early access or once the title is ready for its full launch later in 2024.
The latter is, actually, an approach other games have used, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see it happening sooner or later.
As for which consoles Nightingale might release on, it’s tough to say without official word from the developers.
But with more and more games leaving cross-gen launches behind, our bets are on the Xbox Series X/S and PS5 at the moment.
That is what we know so far about when Nightingale might be released on console. We should learn more about the topic over the coming weeks and months.
