Nintendo Switch 2 plays both physical and digital Nintendo Switch Games. However, certain Nintendo Switch Games may not be supported on or fully compatible with Nintendo’s next hardware release.
What strategy games will be available on the Nintendo Switch 2?
Nintendo hasn’t gone into specifics about the games yet, and we expect to learn more during the Nintendo Direct next month in February. A new Mario Kart game was shown briefly, and we hope to see Civilization VII and many other strategy games on the platform in 2025.
We will provide you with a complete set of launch titles and strategy games as soon as we learn more in February.
