Star Wars Jedi - Fallen Order is going to be a fully-dedicated traditional singleplayer experience through and through, as we've received information that there is currently no plans for post-launch downloadable content at Respawn.
Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order DLC may not be on the menu at all, then, though it remains to be seen whether this is still the case once core sales figures are in. According to Jay Ingram of Respawn fame, devs wish to "release a strong, self-contained story." There's more info, mind.
Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Gameplay</h2>
Speaking on Twitter, Ingram also mentioned that gameplay footage for Fallen Order will likely be released in June - almost certainly as part of EA's E3 stage conference, so there's plenty to be excited for, all things considered.
On the matter of DLC, and when asked whether this approach to Fallen Order means that EA is going to be more consumer-friendly moving forward, Ingram also had something to share: "I certainly hope so. Putting players first in every decision we make has been something the execs have stressed we need to do. I think we all agree there."
He concluded on a careful note, saying that: "It's a big company, though, so shifting plans in motion takes time." Thankfully, EA themselves backed Ingram's statement, saying that there will be no microtransactions, no lootboxes, and none of that will be added post-launch, either.
