Curious about the notoriety system in Assassin’s Creed Mirage and how to reduce it? While navigating the alleys of Baghdad, undertaking quests, and unearthing concealed treasures, unintended confrontations with guards or instances of pickpocketing locals can elevate your notoriety.
There are three tiers of notoriety. As you ascend these levels, navigating bustling cities becomes increasingly challenging, particularly when civilians begin to turn against you, drawing the attention of guards to your whereabouts. We’ll delve into the intricacies of the three notoriety levels and guide you through methods to diminish it.
What can you do to reduce your notoriety in AC Mirage?
Fortunately, there’s a blend of actions you can take to decrease your notoriety. This includes tearing down wanted posters, conversing with Munadis and offering them Power Tokens, as well as vanquishing higher-tier guards in battle.
Doing any of the following actions will reduce your wanted level:
Find Wanted Posters
Upon ascending to any of the three notoriety tiers, Wanted Posters will begin to appear throughout the streets of Baghdad. Typically affixed to walls or buildings, these posters are frequently indicated on your map. Tearing one down will decrease your notoriety, but not completely.
Finding a Munadis
Munadi speakers can be found scattered across the map in urban areas and other populated locations. When your notoriety is high, approaching them will present an option to expend one Power Token to reduce your notoriety. This action should bring it down to zero. Power Tokens can be acquired either by pickpocketing locals or by completing challenge missions.
Defeating an Elite Shakiriyya Guard
Upon reaching the highest level of notoriety, tier three, Elite Shakiriyya Guards will spawn and pursue you, even if you’re hidden from view. From our gameplay experience, if you manage to subdue these guards without any others witnessing the confrontation, your notoriety level will reset to zero.
How is notoriety managed in AC Mirage?
These methods are the sole means to decrease notoriety throughout your AC Mirage journey. But before wrapping up, let’s review the implications of each of the three tiers, ensuring you’re aware of potential challenges ahead.
- Level 1:

- Level 3:
