Overcooked! 2 will receive new “free-zing” content in the near future, according to publisher Team 17.
Not a lot of details were given outside of a brief 30-second teaser trailer. There’s water, a dog encased in a block of ice and, later on, two cooks can be see hastily trying to get across a fairly narrow icy bridge. I’m sad to report that only one of them makes it on the other side.
Whatever the content is, it’s described as fun, festive and free by publisher Team17. It could be that the game will receive some form of seasonal event or another.
Or, it could be that Overcooked! 2 is getting a slippery ice-themed DLC that freezes ingredients right under would-be cooks’ noses. It would certainly contrast October’s coastal-themed Surf ‘n’ Turf DLC.
Nothing close to a release date was given but my guess is that it won’t be too long before this mysterious serving of content for Overcooked! 2 will drop. Overcooked! 2 is currently available on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
