Publisher and developer R8 Games has annoucned that anti-gravity combat racing game Pacer is set to finally release in September.
Headed to PC, Xbox One and PS4, Pacer’s released date has been locked down to Monday, September 17. The game will launch with 14 race tracks which feature interchangeable night, mirrored and reverse variants.
Players will be able to race using five different craft types whose look, performance tuning and weaponry they can customize so as to best fit their playstyle.
Pacer Release Date
Pacer’s singleplayer campaign sees players starting out as a trainee pilot and advancing through 10 race teams on their way to becoming the world champion.
Over on the multiplayer side, the game will launch with 8 modes, including Elimination, Endurance but also the battle royale Storm mode that it announced last year when it also changed its name from Formula Fusion.
Pacer’s online modes will support up to 10 players, including a Ranked Mode for the more competitively-minded players but also Tournament and Spectator modes that cater more to streaming.
Names like CoLD SToRAGE, Dub FX and Ed Harrison appear on the game’s soundtrack that complements its intense combat-filled races. You can check out Pacer’s latest trailer below and follow it on Steam.
