Using the right voice commands or Spirit Box Questions can lead to learning more about the ghost that you’re hunting and its traits, helping you find the right ghost type to mark in your diary.
Although they’ve parted ways with life, ghosts remain able to hear and react to various questions and statements, sometimes even without using equipment like the Spirit Box or Ouija Board.
On the PC, you can communicate with ghosts using the ‘B’ keyboard command. However, this feature functions differently on consoles, which are launching on October 29th. Due to current technical limitations, Kinetic Games is working on patches to address this issue. As it stands, ghosts on consoles won’t understand or respond to spoken words without using predefined prompts that are displayed when using the Spirit Box.
