Asymmetric multiplayer game Predator: Hunting Grounds is out now, pitting a squad of four players controlling human soldiers agains the dreaded alien hunter. As with other multiplayer tiltes, some players are wondering whether or not the title features crossplay support.
Here’s everything we know about Predator: Hunting Grounds crossplay and whether or not you can play with and against friends on different platforms.
Predator: Hunting Grounds Crossplay
Predator: Hunting Grounds launched with crossplay support between PC and PS4. The feature was also a part of the game’s pre-launch beta, albeit minus the ability to create crossplay parties.
By default, Predator: Hunting Grounds’ crossplay is turned on, enabling you to face soldiers or Predators using a different platform. Should you ever wish to turn it off for some reason, all you need to do is head to the options menu.
Developer Illfonic previously stated that crossplay parties would be available at launch. While some players have managed to party with friends from another platform, the process is seemingly having some trouble at the moment.
Nonetheless, to create a Predator: Hunting Grounds crossplay party comprised of both PC and PS4 users, you seemingly need to make sure your Epic Games Store and PS4 accounts are linked together, then add the other players as friends.
From your friends list, you should be able to invite others into a party regardless of platform. That being said, some players are reporting difficulty doing so or seeing friends from a different platform on their friends list. Hopefully, developer Illfonic can fix this soon.
