A new Ubisoft Forward event means a new set of leaks and, this time, it’s looking quite likely that the long-awaited Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake will be announced today.
Rumors of a potential Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake have been floating around the internet for a while, however, few of them were as strong a suggestion as the recent leaked images coming from the Russian version of Uplay.
As spotted on Reddit, the two images – taken from a short clip – reveal updated models of both the Prince and Farah, both in an Uplay window.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake Leaked
While there have been previous storefront leaks pointing at the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake, the latest set of images comes from Uplay and just ahead of the Ubisoft Forward event that goes live later today.
Not only has the publisher’s previous digital showcase also been preceded by a set of leaks, but website VGC’s inside sources have also backed up the claim that a Sands of Time remake will be unveiled.
That being said, this remains a leak until Ubisoft’s official announcement, so take it with a grain of salt.
A Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake announcement would very likely please fans of the series who haven’t seen a mainline entry in over a decade.
September’s Ubisoft Forward event is scheduled to start later today at 8 PM BST/12 PM PT/3 PM ET. You can check out the full lineup reveal below.
