As increasing numbers of people practice social distancing and quarantine becomes common in an attempt to slow the spread of COVID-19, video games can help with dealing with isolation and its effects.
To make coping with these strange times easier, developer Made from Strings and GameWatcher are hosting a quarantine video game giveaway of last year’s Moonrise Fall, while hoping that this could encourage more developers to chime in.
Moonrise Fall Quarantine Video Games Giveaway
Moonrise Fall is an atmospheric exploration puzzle game that tells the story of a boy lost in a supernatural forest, following the loss of his parents in a car crash.
Finding the way out requires him to put on his detective hat as he completes puzzles, photographs strange creatures and learns more about the forest’s mysteries. While it deals with heavier subject matter that may not be for everyone, the title can strike a chord with the more existentially-inclined of gamers.
We’re keeping this giveaway simple and posting the five Moonrise Fall codes below. We’d appreciate it if you’d leave a comment after you grab your code.

Should you not get one of the five codes above, developer Made From Strings will continue giving away new ones each day for the remainder of the month over on its Twitter to offer continuous support to those affected by the pandemic.
If you’re a publisher or developer that would like to host a quarantine video game giveaway of your titles, we’d be glad to signal boost it, whether in an article like this one or via a share on social media.
We’d like to thank Made From Strings for reaching out and supplying codes. Remember to stay safe, wash your hands and game on.
