Publisher Kalypso Media and developer Gaming Minds Studios today announced that Railway Empire 2’s release date is officially slated to occur towards the end of May.
The railway management simulator sequel puts you in control of a small train company in the 19th century, tasking you with taking it to new heights.
Railway Empire 2 Release Date
Railway Empire 2 builds upon its predecessor’s foundation, letting you build on sprawling maps that stretch across both Europe and North America.
The title features a selection of 60 historic locomotives, launching with an improved track construction system alongside real-time terraforming.
You can opt to take on its 5-chapter campaign, dabble in 14 scenarios, or play to your creative strengths in the free play and construction modes.
In addition, you can also team up with up to 3 other players in the sequel’s cooperative multiplayer mode.
Railway Empire 2 has locked down its release date to May 25, 2023, when it launches on PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4. A Nintendo Switch version will release later this year.
