Rainbow Six Siege is ready to celebrate Halloween with the return of the Doktor’s Curse limited-time event. Ubisoft today announced its start and end dates while revealing how it will differ from its previous iteration.
Rainbow Six Siege’s 2021 Doktor’s Curse event has locked down its start date to October 12, which happens to be tomorrow. You can enjoy all the spooks until November 2, when its end date occurs.

Doktor’s Curse brings back the 5v5 Monster Hunt game mode, which takes place on a spookier version of the Theme Park map. The twist this year is that the Attacker side gets some monsters of its own.
A Hide and Seek mode at heart, Monster Hunt tasks the Defender team, comprised of monstrous versions of Rainbow Six Siege’s Operators, with surviving.
They can only make use of traps to slow down and harm opponents but also have access to a power that lets them become invisible and move faster for a short while. This year, players can choose between more horrifying versions of Lesion, Frost, Kapkan, Smoke, Ela, Aruni, and Melusi.
Attackers have the goal of eliminating all Defenders. Aside from Sledge (equipped solely with his hammer), the team also gets Lion and Jackal as playable monsters, players having access to one of three gadgets: Eyenox Model III, Heartbeat Sensor, and EE-ONE-D.
A new set of cosmetics is also available during Rainbow Six Siege’s 2021 Doktor’s Curse event, as part of the Doktor’s Curse Collection. Each bundle, which you can learn more about on the event’s dedicated website, will set you back 1680 R6 Credits but can also be obtained from Doktor’s Curse pack, one of which is rewarded instantly for anyone logging in during the event.
