Red Dead Redemption 2 is out now on PC at long last, and surprise surprise - it actually comes with some exclusive quests that are not available on the console versions. A new story DLC is the Red Dead Redemption 2 Landmarks of Riches mission, to find some hidden treasure.
We'll show you all the Landmarks of Riches locations below, along with maps for all the treasure points, and where to find all the treasures - and the gold bars at the very end. Let's get started.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Landmarks of Riches - How to Get the Quest
The Red Dead Redemption 2 Landmarks of Riches quest isn't one that can be picked up off an NPC or notice board - you have to go to the first location and search a monument to uncover it, and it's not one you'll go to by chance. All the Landmarks in the quest were in the console version, incidentally, but they can now be searched for treasure.
To start, you'll have to head to the location in the map above. It's far to the west of Strawberry, and north-west of lake Owanjila, where you'll find a monolith on a hill. Search the plaque, and you'll find some basic loot and Landmarks of Riches Map 1. It shows a small church being struck by God, which isn't much to go on.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Landmarks of Riches - Map 1 Location
The church in question is located just to the east of Lakay and the Lagras swamp, and north of Saint Denis, in the area above. It's a ridiculously tiny church that looks worse for wear. Search the bell tower, and you'll find Map 2 and some more loot - still not much, however. The map shows a turtle with its side broken.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Landmarks of Riches - Map 2 Location
Map 2's location points you to the Mysterious Hill Home, which is the Hobbit-like house in the north of the map - north-east of Bacchus Station, east of Donner Falls, south of the 'I' in "Ambarino". You'll know the house when you see it, it's just in the hills here. When you get to it, check out the boarded-up window on the side, and you'll find Map 3 - which shows a cannon blowing a hole in a tree by a fence. Huh.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Landmarks of Riches - Map 3 Location
Map 3 is pointing the way to a Civil War battlefield in Bolger Glade, which is just to the east of the Braithwaite Manor. The blackened tree in question is located under the 'L' in "Glade", right in the centre of the battlefield on a little hill (the ruined church is facing it), which has a cannon pointed at it that Arthur will do a sketch of. Search the tree, and you'll find Map 4 - the final piece. This shows the sun peeking over a large mountain at 7 o'clock.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Landmarks of Riches - Map 4 Location, Complete the Quest
If you know it, you'll know that there's only one location Map 4 could be pointing to - the creepy sundial at the top of Mount Shann. Head up to the exact point above - it's just above the 'm' in "Mount Shann". There's a rock here you can examine around the 7 o'clock mark. Pick it up, and you'll complete the Landmarks of Riches quest - and get yourself six gold bars for your trouble! Congratulations, you're rich!
