Red Dead Redemption 2’s PC journey begins today. However, changing the language settings of Rockstar’s latest effort can prove more elusive than many things out there in the Wild West.
While it’s not immediately obvious how you can change language settings in Red Dead Redemption 2, there is a way to do so. Here’s how.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Language Settings
Before arriving here, you’ll likely have launched Red Dead Redemption 2 and searched for language settings in its options menu. That’s what we would all normally do, and if you didn’t find any, fret not. That’s the case for everyone.
In order to change language settings in Red Dead Redemption 2, you’ll need to go to the Rockstar Games Launcher instead. If you’ve started the game, make sure to exit it before proceeding.
Looking at the Rockstar Games Launcher, you should spot a Settings tab in the top-right corner. Go to it and at the top of the page, you should see a drop-down list that lets you change language settings in Red Dead Redemption 2.
Be aware, however, that doing so, also changes the language for your launcher. With this done, you’re ready to hop back in and experience Arthur Morgan’s Wild West adventure with all of the PC version’s enhancements.
If you’re unsure whether your rig can run it, check out the Red Dead Redemption 2 system requirements. Should you have trouble launching the game, our guides on Error Code 133 and the Rockstar Game Launcher exited unexpectedly error could also prove useful.
