The Turkey is one of several birds you’ll hunt in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Online, and knowing the locations in which it often spawns is key to being efficient.
Red Dead Redemption 2 and its Online mode feature two varieties of turkey that happen to have their locations generously spread across the game’s world.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Online Turkey Locations
The two varieties of turkey in Red Dead Redemption 2 an its Online mode are the Eastern wild turkey and the Rio Grande wild turkey.
The Eastern wild turkey can be found in forested or brushy locations in New Hanover, West Elizabeth and Lemoyne. You’ll find particularly high concentrations of them towards the east and south of New Hanover.
Red Dead Redemption 2’s Rio Grande wild turkey is native to the game’s New Austin region which hosts multiple locations where you’ll find the bird.
The resources that turkeys yield in Red Dead Redemption 2 and its Online mode can be useful both as food and in crafting. To ensure you make the most of each kill, use a Varmint Rifle, which is also recommended when hunting North American beavers.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is out now on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Google Stadia.
