Adventure Mode is the next big thing for Remnant: From the Ashes, but it does seem like information on what it is, exactly, is rather scarce. For that reason, we’ve assembled this guide that collects all of the info we’ve got on Adventure Mode.
Most importantly, you’re going to find out the release date, but also stuff on how Adventure Mode will work, what sort of gameplay we should expect from it, and what its most important features will be. Without further ado, let’s get to it.
Adventure Mode Release Date
The original Adventure Mode release date was a tiny bit too optimistic, considering the required workload. It was initially supposed to come out not two weeks after the game’s initial launch, but this proved to be too difficult of a task after all. Thankfully, we won’t have to wait all that long either, as the developers’ latest announcement says we’ll be playing it on 12th of September.
Adventure Mode Features
What is Adventure Mode about, though? In short terms, Adventure Mode will allow players to replay any part of the game’s sprawling campaign whenever they might wish to do so. It’s an infinitely looping sort of endgame experience that should, ideally, be useful for grinding a specific type of boss. As it stands, the base campaign allows players to re-roll their game world whenever some type of puzzle or quest doesn’t appear, but this also means playing through the whole campaign just to get to that specific planet/plane.
In other words, Adventure Mode will allow for targeted loot runs, which is great news for those who might’ve missed the Bell Puzzles, for example.
How to Play Adventure Mode?
As it stands, Adventure Mode is going to be a special feature available in the base game campaign. To play it, you’ll have to get to the World Stone in Ward 13, and then go to the ‘World Settings’ functionality to switch to ‘Adventure Mode’. This will not replace your campaign progress. Quite the contrary, it will allow you to re-roll Earth, Rhom, and Yaesha realms at your own behest, allowing you to farm items and traits along the way.
Note that Corsus won’t be available on launch, but devs have announced it will be coming further down the line, alongside additional Adventure Mode content.
