Ring of Elysium's European release has done wonders for the game's Steam rating, according to the latest Steamcharts score! At one point yesterday, this formerly unknown battle royale reached the Steam Top 10 list as the 10th entry!
Ring of Elysium player count has exploded following the game's worldwide release, with European players finally joining in on the fun and snowboarding their way to victory in ROE. No less impressive is the game's Very Positive review rating!
At the time of writing, the player count has dropped to about 20 000 players, thus relegating Ring of Elysium to the position of 12th most played game on Steam, it is sure to rise again in the future, and yesterday's record counted almost 50 000 concurrent players!
This makes the fact that ROE is very positively reviewed even more impressive to consider, seeing as how there's an awful lot of people giving the game a fair shake. Ring of Elysium still has a ways to go, and it's safe to say that the likes of DOTA 2, PUBG, CS: GO, ARK, Warframe, and GTA V are going nowhere anytime soon.
In any case, it is nice to see the success of a battle royale that's trying to do things a bit differently than the rest. One can only hope that the developers recognise the reasoning behind their success, and continue to do a good job.
