Ring of Elysium has often been the subject matter of our articles here at Game Watcher, and it is also often that we mention it featuring extreme sports, such as rock climbing, hang gliding, and snowboarding. But, if there's snow to board, is there a way to cause an avalanche?
How to trigger an Avalanche in Ring of Elysium is always a popular question, and with the number of players enjoying the game, we feel it necessary to explain the process!
ROE places a particular focus on its dynamic weather systems, and seeing as how the map is very snowy, it's only a natural that an avalanche would come into play sooner or later. You might want to trigger one for various reasons: to see what happens, to distract other players, to alter the level - whatever suits your fancy.
To kickstart an avalanche in ROE, you'll need to get to the outskirts of the map, and find downtrodden ruins of houses in which snow pile-up is located. Next, you want to pull out some explosives, such as grenades, and have them blow up behind the pile-up, toward the mountainside. If done correctly, soon you'll hear rocks and snow tumbling from the mountains, and that's going to be your cue to vacate the premises!
Does this sort of gameplay feature get your imagination going? Ring of Elysium is a free-to-play battle royale like no other, and it is available worldwide via Steam!
