Why are the Sea of Thieves servers down for maintenance? These are the crucial questions everyone in the mood for pirate adventures in Sea of Thieves wants answered now.
If you tried logging into the game, you may have been greeted by the Kiwibeard and Lavenderbeard errors and are wondering whether or not the developers are currently working on getting the Sea of Thives Servers back online.
It’s never fun to boot up your game only to encounter errors like Sea of Thieves Kiwibeard, Sea of Thieves Lavenderbeard Sea of Thieves Greybeard, Sea of Thieves Fishbeard, or Sea of Thieves Strawberrybeard, especially as Season 15 is currently in progress and it’s been released on PlayStation 5.
These signify connectivity problems, so we’ve created this Server Status page to inform you of the game’s maintenance schedule and when the Sea of Thieves servers will be back up.
Sea of Thieves Server Status
Current Server Status: Servers are now online after downtime for the past few hours, which was done to send out a new patch.
“Attention, pirates! We’ve called in the shipwrights for some essential tinkering, meaning the Sea of Thieves servers will be offline from approximately 9am UTC tomorrow, Tuesday 8th. Please plan your Voyages accordingly.” reads a recent tweet.
Sea of Thieves Kiwibeard Error
While Sea of Thieves is offline, you’ll likely see errors like Kiwibeard, Lavenderbeard, or Strawberrybeard if you repeatedly try connecting. All three are tied to server maintenance, and there doesn’t seem to be much that players can do, aside from being patient.
You could take this time to do other stuff or peek at your backlog and run away, terrified by the number of games demanding to be played. Or, if maintaining your sanity is a thing you enjoy doing, you can learn a new sea shanty and terrorize your friends with it via voice chat when the Sea of Thieves servers are up again.
We’ll keep you posted on any other server maintenance schedules in the coming months, so please bookmark us for the latest information.
