Having released Shenmue I & II on PC via Steam to garner not only fan admiration but also critical acclaim, SEGA have shown to be more than eager to polish their fresh release to perfection.
The first update for the games, version 1.01, is currently undergoing beta testing and can be accessed via Steam's 'Beta' functionality. Basically, go into the 'Properties' menu of Shenmue I & II, go to the 'Betas' tab, and then enter the following password: luhIQLdMeQoDatbibCxK. This will grant you access to the beta build of the game.

-fixed an issue with 2560x1080 UI resolutions
-fixed inconsistencies when sparring in the dojo
-fixed various issues with cameras being incorrect in cutscenes
-fixed issues with hair sometimes rendering slightly transparent
-the gong in Bunkada Antiques can now be properly interacted with
