Skull and Bones is finally preparing to hoist its sails, giving us a taste of its grittier take on piracy and sailing across the Indian Ocean. Coming at a time when cloud gaming is on the rise, you might be wondering if there are any chances to see it arriving on PlayStation Plus Premium at launch.
Skull and Bones PlayStation Plus Premium support would enable subscribers to potentially stream the game using the service’s cloud gaming component, which also stretches to PC.
Skull and Bones PlayStation Plus Premium
As expected, this can give players owning older hardware a chance to smoothly run the game, provided a good enough internet connection is available.
Unfortunately, no signs currently point towards Skull and Bones becoming part of PlayStation Plus Premium’s streaming library at launch.
- Skull and Bones PlayStation Plus Premium status: Unknown, likely not available at launch
This means that anyone looking to play it on day one will likely have to opt for a traditional purchase.
Although its publisher has made available its Ubisoft+ Classics collection through PlayStation Plus, it only features older games at this point in time.
Subscribing to Ubisoft+ proper will give you access to Skull and Bones’ PC version on day one, so there is a way to avoid buying it at full price if that’s an absolute must.
We’ll keep an eye out and update this article as soon as we learn anything new about Skull and Bones coming to PlayStation Plus Premium. In the meantime, check out what we know about its ship types and weapons.
