Sniper Elite 5 has plenty of Nazis to execute in a bloody fashion but, as you make your way through World War II France, you may also want to track down its Stone Eagle locations. Doing so not only allows you to erase more marks of Nazi presence, but is also the first step towards unlocking the Eagle Eyed achievement.
You’ll know you found one of Sniper Elite 5’s Stone Eagle locations when you’re looking at the stone statue of an eagle. All you then need to do is shoot them, which automatically registers progress towards the Eagle Eyed achievement.
Some of these are easier to track down than others. It’s also worth keeping in mind that you may be able to approach them from different parts of the level than those highlighted below.
The easiest way to get the achievement is to (re)play missions on Civilian difficulty. Taking down the statues during a normal playthrough does, however, add an extra bit of challenge. With that in mind, here’s where you can find them.
Sniper Elite 5 The Atlantic Wall Stone Eagle Locations
Mission 1, Stone Eagle 1
As you emerge from the relatively linear introductory section, after reaching the workbench. You’ll spot a large antenna on your left side. Head to the field in the screenshot above, while keeping the antenna on your left. You should spot the very first Sniper Elite 5 stone eagle location past some nearby trees.
Mission 1, Stone Eagle 2
Found on top of a bunker near the coast, to the left of your starting position. You may find it marked as a vantage point on the map, which makes it even easier to reach. All you need to do is approach the bunker via the dirt road and you should spot the eagle.
Mission 1, Stone Eagle 3
Sits on top of the big building found in the northeastern part of the village. You can spot it from inside the village or the road to its north.
Sniper Elite 5 Occupied Residence Stone Eagle Locations
Mission 2, Stone Eagle 1
The first stone eagle location in Sniper Elite 5’s second mission is found on the roof of the building that’s behind and to the right of the main mansion. Approaching the area from the forest paths in the screenshot above should make it easy to see and shoot.
Mission 2, Stone Eagle 2
This one waits across the bridge on the left side of the mansion. You don’t have to cross to see it, as it should be easily spottable from near the base of the wooden tower.
Mission 2, Stone Eagle 3
Semi-hidden along the riverbank on the opposite side of the mansion. Can be easily seen from the bridge to its left, but you’ll likely have to clear out Nazis and watch out for patrolling cars.
Sniper Elite 5 Spy School Stone Eagle Locations
Mission 3, Stone Eagle 1
The first statue sits on top of a house in the southeastern part of the island. You can see it as soon as you get your first look of the cathedral, shortly after starting the mission and moving forward.
Mission 3, Stone Eagle 2
The second Sniper Elite 5 stone eagle location in the Spy School mission is located on the side of a cylindrical tower found on the right side of the main road. Plenty of Nazis to eliminate on the way there.
Mission 3, Stone Eagle 3
The third one waits on the remains of a crumbled, mostly submerged tower on the island’s north side. Rather easy to spot from the cliffs behind the cathedral or if you can find a vantage point inside, overlooking the northern section of the map.
Sniper Elite 5 War Factory Stone Eagle Locations
Mission 4, Stone Eagle 1
Looks over the level from the top of a ruined two-story building on the southern part of the map; the area also acts as an alternate entrance into the factory itself. Shoot it to get closer to the Eagle Eyed achievement.
Mission 4, Stone Eagle 2
Found on top of the furnace, as shown in the screenshots above. The industrial equipment near it is fairly distinct from the rest, so you may be able to spot it from further away.
Mission 4, Stone Eagle 3
The third and final stone eagle location in Sniper Elite 5’s War Factory mission waits on top of a red brick building that’s outside of the level’s actual bounds, on the southern side of the factory.
Sniper Elite 5 Festung Guernsey Stone Eagle Locations
Mission 5, Stone Eagle 1
Head past the large fort you encounter as you start the mission, then towards the bunker on the left, near the coast. Get on top of it, where the three guards often hang out, and you can spot the first stone eagle location towards the north, on the left side of a tall, fortified Nazi structure.
Mission 5, Stone Eagle 2
From the roof of the same bunker, go inside, climb to the upper level, and look for a green window on the left just as you reach the top of the stairs. Through it, you can spot the second statue; it sits on top of a structure closer to the middle of the map.
Mission 5, Stone Eagle 3
The third eagle waits on a structure in the level’s northeast section. You can use tall grass to sneak past the enemies patrolling the area.
Sniper Elite 5 Liberation Stone Eagle Locations
Mission 6, Stone Eagle 1
This one is rather easy to spot. Look for a windmill that’s in sight as soon as you emerge from the forest where your glider crashed. You’ll find the first stone eagle location in Sniper Elite 5’s sixth mission on top of it.
Mission 6, Stone Eagle 2
Slightly trickier to spot, it sits next to the shattered remains of a church roof, in the northeastern part of the map.
Mission 6, Stone Eagle 3
In a window on the upper level of a building found in the map’s northmost section. You’ll have to place the charges, blow the bridge, and deal with the Nazis on the other side to safely snipe it.
Sniper Elite 5 Secret Weapons Stone Eagle Locations
Mission 7, Stone Eagle 1
Another eagle with a penchant for hiding, it waits inside the castle on the map’s southwestern edge. More precisely, you’ll find it on the right side of the tallest tower – the one with an antenna on top.
Mission 7, Stone Eagle 2
Perhaps the hardest Sniper Elite 5 stone eagle location to find so far, this one is near the exfiltration point to the east. You can spot it from the road indicated in the screenshot above, on the small hill to the south of the house. It’s hard to notice at first, because it leans against a rock of the same color.
Mission 7, Stone Eagle 3
For this one, you’ll want to head to the dam up north and watch for it on the structure’s lower section. It can be tricky to spot due to the stream of water that might be obscuring it. There’s an anti-aircraft gun platform that allows you to take the shot and get closer to Sniper Elite 5’s Eagle Eyed achievement.
Sniper Elite 5 Rubble and Ruin Stone Eagle Locations
Mission 8, Stone Eagle 1
Found on the rooftop of a distant building that’s outside the bounds of the level. You can get a shot from several spots in the area near the beach, including the house that also acts as a potential starting position.
Mission 8, Stone Eagle 2
Also placed on a distant building that’s out of reach, only this time on the right side of the map. You can see it by heading near the small bridge crossing the water on the level’s right side.
Mission 8, Stone Eagle 3
Head to the mansion where Yoshikawa is hiding and you’ll find the final stone eagle on top of one of its windows. You can get a good shot by following the main road from the second stone eagle location until the mansion is in view.
These are all the Sniper Elite 5 Stone Eagle locations you’ll find in the base game, which should put you well on your way towards obtaining the Eagle Eyed achievement.
