Ready for some Infested Mines? Some time has passed by since Space Hulk: Deathwing was launched, and Streum On Studio, the developers, have been hard at work polishing up the game's performance on both PC and consoles, as well as fixing bugs and other assorted issues as they popped up.
With that in mind, it's good to hear that some of the team have also been working on additional post-launch content, which is going to be making its way into the game later this month, and at no cost whatsoever. Titled 'Infested Mines', this content update will add a whole new map to exterminate upon.
Infested Mines are going to be a larger area than usual, and are a bit at odds with the traditionally claustrophobic hallways of Space Hulk titles, though no less atmospheric. You'll also have the chance to explore levels in greater detail with the inclusion of Photo Mode, if screenshots are your thing.
Alongside the content update, Streum On have also been working on improving Terminator AI, as well as a number of additional quality-of-life features, such as the ability to cancel Psygates by hitting the activation button again.
On top of all this, you can also expect a number of bug fixes to make their way into the game along with the content update, most of which are said to alleviate issues raised by the community since the game's release.
