Space Punks is developer Flying Wild Hog’s debut in the online shooter space and, as the future free-to-play title makes its way through early access, keeping track of its server status and when maintenance might take the game offline is recommended, to avoid your sessions of intense top-down shooting hitting a sudden stop.
Space Punks sees players shooting their way across multiple planets in its sci-fi universe, collecting loot, and improving their heroes capabilities with new skills and perks. Its characters have specific synergies which players can exploit, except for those moments when its server status changes and maintenance brings the game down. Read on below to learn more about whether you can hop in to play now.
The Space Punks servers are currently online, but maintenance is scheduled for Tuesday, September 28.
“Hey Pathfinders! A couple of reminders this morning. We’ll be performing maintenance tomorrow, 28/09, from 08:00 - 10:00 BST (07:00 - 09:00 UTC) to apply the newest update; servers will be unavailable during this time,” reads a tweet from the game’s official account.
This maintenance and the update it applies will also wipe progress for the first time, something that will happen again in the future as the shooter makes its way through early access.
For more on Space Punks’ server status we’ve got you covered, but it’s worth keeping an eye on the title’s official Twitter, as news of maintenance and the servers going offline are also shared there.
