Does Star Wars Battlefront II support cross-platform play? Can you play with friends that prefer different platforms? If you're getting your Star Wars fix from the multiplayer shooter, these are likely questions you've asked yourself.
Star Wars Battlefront II has managed to redeem itself in the eyes of many since its shaky launch back in 2017 but is it one of the titles that do benefit from cross-platform play support? We've got answers.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 Cross-Platform Support
The issue of cross-platform support in Star Wars Battlefront II was discussed in a post on the title's section in EA's Answers HQ. The response will, however, leave cross-play enthusiasts disappointed.
"Unfortunately, we don't have any plans for bringing the cross-platform play to Star Wars Battlefront II.", the post reads.
Cross-play support wasn't a feature of any of Star Wars Battlefront II's post-launch updates. For now, at least, you're stuck playing with and against others who own the game on your platform of choice.
Star Wars Battlefront II is out now on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
