Star Wars Battlefront 2 may no longer be receiving free content updates, but players of the redeemed first-person shooter still have stuff like the Unlimited Power event to look forward to in 2021. Since it offers a handful of limited-time bonuses, keeping track of its start and end dates is quite important.
The first of 2021’s Unlimited Power events started and ended on the same day: January 1. Perhaps a little brief, it gave Battlefront 2 players the chance to unlock content at vastly reduced prices and more. After a few months’ wait, it has returned for a second time.
Having set its start date for May 4, which happens to be Star Wars Day, Battlefront 2’s second Unlimited Power event of 2021 was also supposed to be a one-day thing.
After having some issues kicking things off, EA and Dice have decided to extend it, scheduling its end date for May 6 and granting Triple XP instead of just twice the normal amount.
“The Unlimited Power event is now active and will run until May 6th, 23:45 CET. We’ve also activated Triple XP,” Community Specialist Kevin Johnson wrote on Reddit.
- Star Wars Battlefront 2 Unlimited Power 2021 Event 1 - Start Date: January 1; End Date: January 1
- Star Wars Battlefront 2 Unlimited Power 2021 Event 2 - Start Date: May 4; End Date: May 6
Aside from the XP bonus, the event reduces the Battle Point cost of in-game items by 90%, increases the number of available reinforcements and heroes while also enabling fast spawn timers.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is out now on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
