Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order is out now, and just like any good Metroidvania there are plenty of new abilities to help you progress - from useful upgrades to BD-1 to devastating Force powers. But how about something as classic and essential as a Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Double Jump? Is there one in the game?
There absolutely is a Double Jump upgrade for Cal Kestis in the game, and it’s called the Jedi Fallen Order Jedi Flip or Force Flip. But how do you get the Jedi Flip in Jedi Fallen Order? Here’s where and when you do.
Jedi Fallen Order Double Jump
There are plenty of moments where a double jump would be useful in Fallen Order, however you’ll have to wait for a while before you get the Jedi Flip move - you’ll be well into the game. You’ll get the Force Jump the second time you visit Kashyyyk. After you find Tarfful at last, you’ll be told to climb the giant Origin Tree - which is where you’ll get the Rebreather so you can swim underwater.
Make your way up the Origin Tree until you reach the point in the pictures (and map) below, with a row of the bounce plants on a narrow branch going up. If you jump on one, you’ll instantly be transported to a Force vision, and a practice area with your Jedi Master. Here you’ll learn the double jump Jedi Flip move.
To do it, simply press the Jump button again at the top of your normal jump, and Cal will flip to launch himself into a second jump. You can now access any area that you couldn’t quite jump to before, which should create a lot of shortcuts too. You’ll also be very close to a boss fight, so be prepared!
