Although it’s been around for over four years, Stardew Valley continues to receive new content and fixes through updates, its 1.5 patch being currently in development.
As eager fans await news surrounding the Stardew Valley 1.5 patch release date, developer Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone has offered periodic glimpses into what’s coming in the next update.
If previously the banana tree was chosen by the community as the next addition to Stardew Valley, a recent tweet reveals something different about Willy’s shop alongside hints at the state of patch 1.5’s development.
Stardew Valley 1.5 Patch Release Date
Stardew Valley’s patch 1.5 is “still in a ‘nose to the grindstone’ phase”, according to Barone, although “some good milestones have been met”.
The 1.5 patch will add a “significant new piece of end-game content and much more”, while the same tweet features an image in which a mysterious new door can be seen in Willy’s shop.

Although we still don’t have a firm Stardew Valley 1.5 patch release date, the tweet suggests that we’ve still got a bit of waiting to do.
