SteamWorld Build takes the ever-evolving series into unexplored territory thanks to an engaging blend of city building and dungeon digging. Embracing change and excitement, its patch notes timeline kicks things off with a welcome serving of festive spirit.
Developer The Station spared little time before releasing SteamWorld Build’s first update, which arrived one week after the title released. In addition to making the game’s desert-covered landscapes a bit chillier, the studio also confirmed that more updates are planned to release throughout 2024.
SteamWorld Build Patch Notes - Jingle Bolts Update
Release Date: December 8, 2023
The first stop on SteamWorld Build’s patch notes timeline is the seasonal Jingle Bolts update, which turns the surface world into a winter wonderland.
Aside from covering it in snow, it also introduces a handful of seasonal items, including hats and snowman heads for your citizens to wear as the spirit of the holidays makes its presence known throughout your towns.
Christmas trees, candy cane fences, and snowmen are also now available in-game, as is the traditional, entirely on-brand Christmas goat.
SteamWorld Build’s Jingle Bolts update might be more lightweight but, although it doesn’t have any extensive patch notes, it is detailed in a dedicated Steam post.
SteamWorld Build is out now on PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
