Stray’s hotfix 1 has now been deployed, its patch notes revealing a handful of necessary changes that should make experiencing everything its cybercity has to offer a bit smoother.
On the one hand, Stray’s hotfix 1 addresses a pesky progression blocker that came into effect at the end of the first Zurk chase, which introduces you to the game’s headcrab-like predators.
Stray Hotfix 1 Patch Notes
Stray’s first hotfix also targets “a few common ‘fall through the world’ bugs,” according to the developer, so you should see the game’s furry protagonist taking fewer trips to the void below its levels.
Another patch is planned to go live in the coming days, aiming to address “some GPU driver issues.” All in all, it’s been a relatively smooth launch fo the game, which peaked at 62,963 concurrent players.
Stray is available now on PC, PS5, and PS4. For more on the game, check out our review and worker jacket guide.
