Stray is a popular adventure game filled with unexpected surprises, and when you reach the Slums in chapter 4, you’ll have the opportunity to explore several sheet music locations. Discovering these documents will enable Morusque, the talented musician, to perform some unique and cool tunes to help you complete a quest.
There are a total of eight Stray sheet music locations to find and they’re all spread across the Slums. You should be able to grab them both during chapter 4 and chapter 6. Follow our guide to uncover all of Stray’s sheet music locations and immerse yourself in Morusque’s music. Morusque is always sitting down with his makeshift guitar to the left of the Guardian, near where you can find one of the game’s safes.
Stray Sheet Music Locations - 1/8
You can grab this one while progressing through the main story, since it waits in Momo’s apartment. Use the cat’s climbing skills to reach the orange neon sign indicated by the Guardian once you show him your postcard.
Enter the apartment through the window. You can talk to Momo now or after you grab Stray’s sheet music 1/8. Head left past the blue sign. On your left, you’ll notice a door through which you can easily squeeze.
Head inside the dark room, climb on top of the cardboard boxes, and you’ll find the Stray sheet music 1/8 location on the shelf there. Don’t forget to grab it.
Stray Sheet Music 2/8
This one’s found on the way to Clementine’s apartment, where you can also obtain sheet music 6/8. To reach Stray’s sheet music 2/8 location, head to the balcony on the right instead of entering Clementine’s place. The item sits on a table.
Stray Sheet Music 3/8
For this one, you’ll need to head over to Elliot’s. With your back towards the Guardian, move forward past the Companion leaning against the vending machine.
Take the first left, then the first right, then look immediately to your right. You’ll notice a door you can scratch. Do so to get access inside.
Keep going forward towards the large portrait of a Companion and you’ll find Stray’s sheet music 3/8 pinned to it. You can scratch the door again to exit.
Stray Sheet Music 4/8
To obtain Stray’s sheet music 4/8, you can check out our energy drink guide and learn how to obtain one from interactable vending machines.
As soon as you have one energy drink, head to the right of the Guardian and you’ll find Azooz, the merchant, sitting down. One of the items he sells is the music sheet mentioned above, whose location you just found. Trade a drink for it and it’s yours.
Stray Sheet Music 5/8
To find Stray’s sheet music 5/8 location, head to the bar. Take the stairs down from the guardian, go forward past the Companion leaning against the vending machine, then enter the door immediately to his left (you’ll know the bar by its glowing red neon sign).
Head upstairs, and look for the sheet music 5/8 on one of the tables there.
Stray Sheet Music 6/8
This is quite easy to reach right after leaving Momo’s apartment, since it’s located inside the apartment with the Outsider symbol that B-12 mentions as you exit to continue your notebook hunt.
You can use the bucket to get to the lower level, then the rooftops and pipes to reach Clementine’s apartment. Hop up on the window, go through the wooden door, and look to the right.
Stray’s sheet music 6/8 location is right on top of a pile of books there, waiting for you to grab it.
Stray Sheet Music 7/8
Stray’s sheet music 7/8 location is found inside Doc’s apartment, which is covered in the notebook guide linked in the paragraph above that’s covering the first obtainable sheet music.
Once inside, head to the center of the apartment, where you’ll find a piano. Hop on and grab the piece of sheet music.
Stray Sheet Music 8/8
For Stray’s sheet music 8/8 location we’re heading back to Morusque. Walk past him until you reach the large garage door, then look to your left.
You should spot a safe with a note that leads you to uncover its mysterious password. If you want to go through the whole process, follow the link in the second paragraph to our dedicated guide. If not, read on below for the safe code.
Should you be in a rush, just input 1283 when asked for a code and grab the sheet music inside. With all of Stray’s sheet music locations tracked down, you can head back to Morusque and take a break while listening to him play the tunes.
