Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance, a real-time strategy game situated within the Dark Fate universe, showcases the conflict between humanity and Legion’s synthetic intelligent machine network. Since its launch in February, it has garnered high praise and continues to improve with every patch update Slitherine puts out.
The developers have now laid out the content roadmap for 2024, across Q2, Q3, and finally Q4 at the end of the year. The first multiplayer co-op modes should be coming soon.
Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance 2024 Content Roadmap
The initial free updates outlined in this roadmap are scheduled for release in Q2 2024, focusing on improving the multiplayer and skirmish modes. These updates will introduce new maps, modes, and features, as well as a Free Camera Mode. We should see the first multiplayer co-op maps too.
Moving on to Q3 2024 we should expect to see a fresh campaign update, offering customisable difficulty options and a mission for T-force within the main campaign.
We should also see plenty of quality-of-life improvements during these quarters and in-game chat features added.
Slitherine is working on the first paid DLC to be released in Q4 2024, which will include a campaign where players can play as the Legion’s terminators.
New locations, units, and missions will be added with this fresh campaign.
You can find Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance on Humble Store.
