Doomsday: Last Survivors has arrived on Steam and the Epic Games Store, following the launch of a standalone PC version in April.
In case you missed it the first time around, Doomsday: Last Survivors is an acclaimed free-to-play strategy game (SLG) from IGG, the hugely successful studio behind a string of mobile hits like Lords Mobile, Castle Clash, and Viking Rise.
As its name suggests, Doomsday: Last Survivors is a post-apocalyptic survival game, and you’ll be pleased to discover that it features the best kind of apocalypse: zombie.
Following a cataclysmic outbreak of horrifying reanimation, humanity is on the brink of extinction.
You play as the Commander, and your goal is to keep the human race in the fight by helping them build a shelter, push back the surrounding fog of war, and crush the zombie menace on the battlefield.
Oh, and you’ll have to do battle with your fellow humans, too, taking on rival factions who want to steal your territory and gobble up your resources.
Heck, you could even raid another player’s Shelter. Everybody’s at it, and there’s no quicker way to replenish your stores and consolidate your own stronghold. You just have to make sure you win.
Doomsday: Last Survivors boasts a number of cutting edge features, including eye popping 3D presentation, a realistic spherical terrain system that lets you zoom in and out with ease, and a variety of environments to explore and weather effects to endure.
As you’d expect from a studio with IGG’s limitless resources, the whole thing looks fabulously gruesome, stylish, and polished. All of which comes across even better on the big screen.
Doomsday: Last Survivors also benefits from the mouse and keyboard interface of a desktop computer, which makes it that much easier to keep on top of all the stuff you have to do.
There are multiple troop types to train up, countless battlefield tactics to unleash, and a range of Hero skills to deploy.
It’s all happening in real time, too. With the click of a mouse button or the tap of a key you can change your army’s direction, set a new destination, and use speed ups and healing items to change the course of a battle on the fly.
Visit the Epic Games Store or Steam to check out Doomsday: Last Survivors today!
Or, if you prefer, you can still download it on the Google Play Store, the App Store, or grab the standalone PC version from the official Doomsday: Last Survivors site. You can also keep up to date with the latest Doomsday: Last Survivors news on the official Discord and Facebook.
