The Architect: Paris is a City Builder that allows players to take on the role of an Architect, who has the power to shape the city of Paris. Focus Home Interactive has partnered with Enodo Games to bring this to the PC, although no release date has been set, yet.
You might be thinking that The Architect: Paris will be like Cities Skylines, but there will be differences. Players are going to have to design and create their own original buildings, which must then be managed individually.
You'll have to take certain things into account when building the famous City of Light, such as design, demographics, politics, and pollution, too.
"The Architect: Paris is an out of the box, innovative game that aims to shake the foundations of the genre. We are convinced that Focus Home Interactive is the ideal publisher to help us develop and promote our game. We look forward to working with their teams and benefitting from their long-time experience and expertise." said Jean-Baptiste Reynes, President and Creative Director of Enodo Games. </b>.
"We are delighted to partner with Enodo Games. With The Architect: Paris, they’re bringing a title that fits perfectly with the Focus Home Interactive catalog, as it goes far beyond the classical borders of its genre. We are always happy to work with ambitious partners developing innovative and fun concepts, and that’s exactly what Enodo Games is doing here." said Luc Heninger, Production Director of Focus Home Interactive.
That's literally all we know at the moment, but hopefully we hear more soon. Here's the same screenshot we posted above, because Focus Home Interactive couldn't send us more than one.
