Some materials are harder to find than others in The Cycle: Frontier and Aluminum Scrap is weirdly one of them.
This guide will cover the main locations where you can find this rarer Aluminum Scrap and the challenges that can come with collecting it.
The Cycle: Frontier Aluminum Scrap Locations
To begin with, the majority of Aluminum Scrap is located on Cresent Falls, the harder second map you can play in The Cycle: Frontier. This doesn’t mean there is none on Bright Sands, just less that will be more hotly contested.
The Comms Tower and Jungle Camp both feature Aluminum Scrap as a fairly common container loot, while the Dig Site is also known to have it, although at a lower drop rate.
If you’re at the dig site and are lucky enough to have a Mine Key, you might also want to check out the containers within for an increased chance of finding Scrap. But, as with most locked doors, it’ll be a magnet for player ambushes.
With so many people looking for Aluminum though, you might still be better off risking a trip into Cresent Falls, where the Scrap can be found almost everywhere, making it a much more likely loot, albeit with more risk of not getting back alive.
The Mine Key we mentioned isn’t that common, but the Tall House Key is one you’ll probably encounter fairly often. If you happen to have one and are wondering what it opens, look no further than our Tall House Key Guide.
