Publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment and developer Supermassive Games today revealed that The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope is set to release at some point in Summer 2020.
The second entry in The Dark Pictures Anthology, Little Hope takes the series’ brand of cinematic horror to a new location, featuring a new cast of characters.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope Summer 2020 Release Window
“Trapped and isolated in the abandoned town of LITTLE HOPE, four college students and their professor must escape the nightmarish visions that relentlessly pursue them through an impenetrable fog.”, reads a press release.
“As they journey through the town looking for a means of escape, they must understand the meaning of these events, the root of the evil, and how it is directly connected to them!”, it continues.
Like its predecessor, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope will be playable in singleplayer or, if you’d like to experience it alongside friends, in online two-player co-op, or alongside up to 5 players in its pass-the-pad offline Movie Night mode.
A new trailer accompanied the announcement, offering a first look at The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope’s dark and tense atmosphere and two of its main characters. You can check it out below.
In our Man of Medan review, we found first entry in the series to be “a fun and deeply scary game” whose “multiplayer needs to be experienced”.
